Description

JHP Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join a fantastic gastro bar/ hotel on the coast. Working within one of Cornwall’s most iconic harbours offering a fresh seasonal menu with specific note of fresh seafood, this opportunity would suit an established Sous Chef looking for a new challenge.

Looking for a candidate with a steady background, ideally experience within a gastro pub environment and the commitment to excel is a must.

As a Sous Chef in this role you will be offered:

£22,000-£28,000 DOE

Share of tips and a favourable bonus scheme

Regular reviews

Opportunity to work on the Beautiful Cornish coast

Free meals on site

 

In return as a Sous Chef you will be expected too:

Run the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence

Be confident with adhering too and implementing all Food Hygiene standards

Training new staff

Have previous experience as a Sous Chef in a fresh food establishment

Work various shifts, with flexibility depending on business needs
